[LB 1.3] Downgrade, Upgrade, NetInstall Enable, and Disable IPV6 Routerboard

Material :

1. Routerboard and Cable Power Routerboard
2. Cable UTP
3. Software NetInstall
4. PC
5. Winbox

Step by step :

Upgrade

1.  Connect the power cord at routerboard, then connect the utp cable to port 2
2. If it is connected. Open winbox, login with MacAddress

3. Open terminal, then see configuration network in routerboard # ip address print

4. Configuration network at routerboard  # ip address add address=ip router interfaces=ethernet2

5. Then check again configuration network in routerboard # ip address print

6. Klick System -> Resource to see Version Routerboard

7.  For upgrade routerboard 5.26 version to 6.25 version copy 6.25 npk files to Files List

8. Wait until loading process is finished!

9. Reboot routerboard, click yes

10. Set ip address in PC

11. Login again with ip address

12. To see version routerboard click System -> Resources

Enable and Disable IPV6 in Routerboard

1. Click System -> Packages choose ipv6 then click enable to activeted ipv6

2. Then reboot routerboard click system -> Reboot

3. Open winbox, after that you can see ipv6 then we can login with ipv6

4. To disable ipv6, click System -> Packages. Choose ipv6 then click Disable

5. After that reboot routerboard, clickk System -> Reboot

6. Login again with winbox, ipv6 until didn't appear again

Downgrade

1. For downgrade routerboard 6.25 version to 5.26 version copy 5.26 npk files to Files List

2. Wait until loading process is finished!

3. After that open System -> Packages click downgrade

4. Then reboot routerboard click System -> Reboot

5. Login again with winbox

6. Click System -> Resources to see Version Routerboard

7. Downgrade susccesfull!

Re-install Routerboard with Net Install

1. Click System -> Routerboard. Click Settings

2. At Boot Device menu choose try-ethernet-once-the.., then click OK

3. Click OK

4. Open Net Install, then click Net booting

5. Checklist at Boot Server enabled, After that input ip address, then click OK

6. Click Browse to input folder 6.25 npk files

7. Move utp cable from port 2 to port 1, wait until routerboard re-connected, after that click install

8. Wait until installation finish

9. Installation with Net Install was finish!
