Step by step :
RouterBOARD must be connected to the internet, for more details see the following tutorial HERE
Backup and Restore (.backup)
1. Click Files, then select the files you want to backup click Backup
2. Click Backup
3. Copy file backups to a PC or a local storage
4. Then Reset routerboard, click System -> Reset Configuration -> No Default Configuration -> Reset Configuration
5. Login again with Mac Address
6. Remove file backups in routerboard
7. Copy file backups in local stroage, then paste file in routerboard click icon paste
8. Click file backups then click Restore
9. Click Restore, then routerboard will reboot by itself its
Backup and Restore using password (.backup)
1. Click Files, then select the files you want to backup click Backup
2. The contents of the backup file name and password then click backup
3. Copy file backups to a PC or a local storage
4. Then Reset routerboard, click System -> Reset Configuration -> No Default Configuration -> Reset Configuration
5. Login again with Mac Address
6. Remove file backups in routerbord, click file backups then click icon minus (-)
7. Copy file backups in local stroage, then paste file in routerboard click icon paste
8. Enter password, then click Restore. Routerboard will reboot by itself its
Backup and Restore Configuration (.rsc)
1. Open Winbox, Login with Ip address
2. Open terminal, Using command export file=backup_all_cpnfiguration
3. Click Files to see the results of the backup files
4. Copy file backups in routerboard and paste in local storage or PC
5. Reset Configuaration, click System -> Reset Configuration -> No Default Configuration click Reset Configuration
6. Open winbox, login with Maac Address
7. Remove file backups, click file backups then click icon minus (-)
8. Edit file backups with notepad, change ip address on ether2 or etc
9. Copy file backups in PC then Paste in routerboard, click icon paste
10. Open terminal, then restore using command import file-name=backup_all_configuration.rsc
11. Check ip address, look at ether2 ip address has changed, then editing the file backup.rsc in PC and restore from the PC has been successful!
